Developer's Vision

“The natural surroundings along the shores of Commencement Bay are what make Point Ruston so special.   In planning this multi-faceted community, art is expected to play an important role throughout the neighborhood, most notably along the Waterwalk, reflective of its native northwest environment.

In early 2007, I brought in longtime friend and accomplished artist Bob Gilbert to lead the artistry at Point Ruston.  Together we have researched and met with local artists, spanning across various mediums ranging from ironwork to stained glass to mosaics and sculpture. Some of these artists will bring their inspired creations to Point Ruston, enriching the creative diversity of artwork throughout, while in turn, we help to support local and regional artists in our community.
