Point Ruston is a planned mixed-use development with a range of housing options including condominiums, town homes, single family residences, apartments, with the potential for senior housing.

Plant selections will focus on native plants requiring minimal maintenance and low water usage. Rain gardens will utilize rain water collected onsite.

Point Ruston is a Built Green community, certified by the Pierce County Master Builders Association. Multi-family housing onsite utilizes sustainable materials, green building practices, and energy efficient design (including ENERGY STAR® appliance packages). Every custom home on Stack Hill will be dual Built Green® and ENERGY STAR® certified.
Exterior lighting will be designed to be energy efficient and minimize light pollution. A community recycling program will be integrated throughout the neighborhood. Nearly 75% of the site is made up of public space.
