We couldn’t be more pleased to announce that a well known local medical facility will be coming to Point Ruston. Multicare Indigo Urgent Care Center is under construction and is looking at a 2018 completion. The waterfront has been in need of a medical care center; currently the nearest place to seek medical attention is the Multicare Center on the 2200 block of Pearl Street. Health is an important part of every community and we at Point Ruston are happy to be bringing a quality medical center to the area for residents, locals, and visitors to benefit from.
A good doctor doesn’t just know how to diagnose and treat. A good doctor cares. And knows how to listen. MultiCare doctors aren’t just book smart. They’re people smart. They take the time to get to know their patients. Knowledge combined with compassion is the best medicine to help you get well and go back to being you. MultiCare has all of your care needs covered. The MultiCare family network is comprised of five hospitals, including Allenmore Hospital, Auburn Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Health Network, Tacoma General Hospital, plus numerous outpatient specialty centers, primary and urgent care clinics.
Point Ruston will certainly feel well rounded with a medical facility that serves the waterfront community. Medical service, which until now has been unincorporated into the Ruston and Tacoma waterfronts, will make the waterfront an even safer and healthier place to live, with caring medical professionals right here at Point Ruston.
