| Portfolio Point Ruston’s dynamic boardwalk, the Waterwalk, will comple the connection between the Ruston Way promenade and Point Defiance Park. This unique Waterwalk showcases northwest-inspired public artwork designed by resident artist Bob Gilbert, created in collaboration with local talents. The rederings showed and captioned below showcase the artistic vision for the Waterwalk.
The distinctive “Bear Fountain” is one of the many public works of art along the Waterwalk, and will be located near the eastern corner of the Copperline Condominiums. Cascading water flows from illuminated glass at the top of this stunning 12-foot high fountain, where three bronze bears hunt salmon amid the flowing water. Over 30 feet in width, the triangular base features ergonomic benches, sure to become a great spot for residents to relax near the shore.
