Point Ruston’s dynamic boardwalk, the Waterwalk, will comple the connection between the Ruston Way promenade and Point Defiance Park. This unique Waterwalk showcases northwest-inspired public artwork designed by resident artist Bob Gilbert, created in collaboration with local talents.

The rederings showed and captioned below showcase the artistic vision for the Waterwalk.

Point Ruston’s unique “Fire Pit” (lower right) will sit at the northeast corner of the shoreline. Residents and visitors can view the illuminated ceiling constellations above, as they nestle around the rockwork base to feel the warmth of the fire. The fish fretwork and weathervane were designed and created by local artist and blacksmith, Elijah Burnett.
