The Building and the Point Ruston Area

What’s up with this whole area? What type of businesses are going to be here?
The first questions people typically ask usually stems from their interest in Point Ruston as a whole. Folks see the progress on the property and they quickly become curious about what will be coming to Point Ruston in the future and when the public can enjoy the dining, shopping, recreation and entertainment. The first thing we tell folks is to be sure and subscribe to the Point Ruston E-Newsletter (top right of this page) to be the first to know of new businesses coming to Point Ruston. The next thing we tell folks is to check out the Point Ruston Blog, which you are on right now!

Now, onto the exciting stuff! Coming within a few months will be Two Town Pub and Cafe, which will feature a scrumptious selection of foods and drinks. The next big addition to the community will be the Century Theatres 9-screen cineplex, which is scheduled to open in Spring 2015.

Check out our Point Ruston Site Plan to download the full version of the site map and to learn what the different buildings are planned to offer Point Ruston visitors and residents.

Are there public meeting areas?
We have 2 large meeting rooms. One is very large with a flat screen TV with cable, full kitchen, couches, a computer with wifi available, and more. The other we call the “Great Room” for a reason. This room has a pool table, ping pong table, 3 huge flat screen TVs with cable, full size kitchen with all the amenities, many sections of couches and tables as well a space large enough to have a full family reunion! There are sweeping views of the waterfront and, best of all, the room is available for reservation by any resident for no cost.

I heard the Copperline is like a community. Do people meet often? Does Copperline throw community events?
We are like a close-knit community and often have get-togethers. Keep an eye out for our community events on our monthly newsletter, on our webpage, or in the elevator. For more information about how our residents feel about our community please read this testimonial from one of our Copperline residents.

Is the building pet friendly?
We pride ourselves in being one of the few buildings that allow dogs up to 100 pounds. Additionally, the pet fee covers up to 2 pets and there isn’t a monthly charge. Most of our residents have a pet and you’ll meet one another on the elevator or while walking your pup on the Waterwalk.

We anticipated our residents would enjoy a variety of outdoor activities so we have storage for the kayaks on the first floor as well as a dedicated kayak launch on the Waterwalk immediately in front of the Copperline Apartments and Condominiums.

I have a bike; is there room to store it?
We have a convenient location on the main floor where you can store your bike. Lots of our residents have bicycles and enjoy a leisurely ride on the Waterwalk or an athletic ride on Point Defiance’s 5-mile drive.
