Orca Whales in Commencement Bay

Earlier this morning, we were fortunate to get an early tip from several of our Copperline Condominium residents that there were quite a few Orca whales swimming around the container ship anchored in Commencement Bay.

We hurried down to the Waterwalk and captured as many photos as we could! We estimate that there were roughly 15 orcas swimming in the waters off the Tacoma waterfront.
