Artists statement:
The “Listen to the Ocean” sign is composed of 11 different signs all related to the water and it’s surroundings. The combined signs are approximately 5 feet tall. Widths of the sign vary, the narrowest being approximately 20 inches and the widest near 3 and 1/2 feet. The woods used in the sign are Padouk. Additional woods were Bubinga, Cedar, and Purple Heart.
