It’s never too early to start planning for the Point Ruston Independence Day 2019!
Registration is now open for the Point Ruston Independence Day 2019, this fast, flat and downhill course, that starts at N. 37th & N. Vassault Street in Tacoma and finishes here at Point Ruston’s Grand Plaza! (USATF Certified WA18016RMB) New this year: Every runner will receive a medal and race shirt!
Have no fear! While this is a speedy course for fast runners, it also is a fun course for a power walk before your Independence Day barbecue! Everybody is welcome to participate!
The 5K Run and Walk starts at 8:00 am sharp at N. 37th & Vassault Street. This is located very close to Vassault Park. The finish of the 5K is at the Grand Plaza at Point Ruston.
The Grand Plaza is also where the Kids 1K will start at 9:00 am. The kid’s run is an out-and-back, so the runners can cross the official finish line as well.
