Important Changes to Point Ruston Parking: Point Ruston’s new parking program is active.

Our priority is to make every guest at Point Ruston feel welcome and to make parking their vehicle as easy, safe and convenient as possible – the goal of this program is to appropriately manage Point Ruston’s parking facilities to prioritize ease of access for as many guests as possible.

Point Ruston customers will always park free with merchant validation. As part of the ongoing growth and development of our beautiful community, we want to be sure that there is convenient parking. This is why our paid parking program, for guests who are not shopping or dining at Point Ruston, is going into effect.

If you plan on making a purchase at any business within one hour of arrival
there is no need to pre-pay, you do not need a ticket.
All you need is to give your license plate # to the business.
It really is that simple!

 


FAQ

  1. Any purchase at a merchant at Point Ruston qualifies you for a customer validation of 2 hours (with your license plate number).
  2. Merchant Validation Times:
    1. Cinema: 5 hrs
    2. All other merchant validations: 2 hours
    3. Farmers market validates for 2 hours for EBT customers
  3. Street Parking – As long as you have active validation or prepaid parking applied. See merchant for validation or prepay at pay station or mobile app.
  4. Validations do not accumulateEach new validation replaces any existing validation or prepay.
  5. You do not need to move your car once parked in the garage as long as you have active validation or prepaid parking applied.
  6. You can pay via mobile app (Available from Google and Itunes)

PUBLIC PARKING “IS ALWAYS FREE FOR CUSTOMERS”

All Point Ruston visitors receive up to one-hour grace period upon parking at Point Ruston.

VISIT ONE OF OUR MERCHANTS FOR A FREE PARKING VALIDATION OR
PLEASE PREPAY FOR PARKING WITHIN THE GRACE PERIOD.

  • There is no max time-limit in the public garage as long as a visitor has merchant validation or is paying for parking. All on street parking is limited to two-hour parking, per day.
  • Visitors are encouraged to take a photo or write down your license plate number as it will be needed for merchant validations or for prepaid parking.
  • Visit one of our merchants for a free parking validation or prepay for parking within the grace period.
  • Visitors can manage prepaid parking from their smartphone using the free Passport Parking Mobile app available at any app store or pay at one of the pay stations located at garage exits and convenient locations on site. Paid parking is $2.00 per hour.
  • Validations do not accumulate. Each new validation replaces any existing validation or prepay.
  • Only one grace period allowed per vehicle per day.
  • All Point Ruston merchants validate with a minimum purchase as set by individual merchants.
  • One hour grace period expires upon your first validation or parking payment.
  • Parking session ends when the last received validation or prepay expires, and may only be extended with a new validation or via payment.
  • Failure to maintain validated parking session or an active prepaid may result in a monetary parking penalty.
